Message: Bring your own water! Always a great park and trail access point. That is untill cheap augusta turns off their only water station for 2 miles. The taxes we pay, we should be able to fix a water fountain.. with it over a hundred degrees consistently for months, it is quite a concern of saftey. I understand winter when pipes could freeze, but it's been down the entire summer.

Message: This is the cutest park ever. We just moved into the area, I tried looking online for parks as I haven’t seen one while driving. This one came up on my maps search. When I pulled into the development it was in, I thought maybe it was only for that community and no outsiders, as everyone stared as we were driving in. But no one said anything and my kids had a blast. There was a friendly neighborhood car that was playing with them on the playground and a trail which we didn’t get to experience. Towards the end of our trip, a lot of older kids came and sat on the rising toys, which was a little upsetting as my 2 year old sat there waiting for his turn on the car that they were just sitting in and talking, but aside from that we had a great time.

Message: They added new playground equipment a while back, it's very nice and accessible. Mostly just slides but the the kids enjoy it. The baseball fields are kept in great condition and there is a public restroom at the concession building.

Message: 2021-12: Great complex for those who utilize the many ball fields here, but also a great place to utilize the Augusta Canal Trail. Access is a short walk from the parking area to right across from Augusta Water Works between the Augusta Canal and the Savannah River. I've come here multiple times for the trail and river access.

Message: We really enjoyed being able to walk along the canal. My concern is the metal bridge. I have a large elderly dog and she was even nervous crossing it. The wooden bridge close to it is nice but takes you far from the parking. Also the water station was empty and that kinda sucked. But overall we very much enjoyed the place.

Message: The trails along the Savannah River are amazing. Me and my wife walk them several times a week. We love it and so will you! I love this precious wife of mine blowing me kisses!

Message: A good place by the savannah river for a walk. Many people are rowing in the river with kayak.
